About Steven

Steve Paxton is a lifetime resident of Maryland and the Baltimore area. He grew up in Towson and moved to Baltimore City’s Canton neighborhood in 1996 upon the purchase his first home. His early career experience while diverse, including painting, contracting and financial services business, always focused on building and sustaining relationships with customers. In 2001, Steve transitioned his customer service experience into real estate. Instantly, Steve found his passion. In his first full-time year in the field, 2002, he sold 61 homes. A top producer since then, he has averaged more than 60 sales per year, culminating in more than 1,000 homes sold and over $400,000,000 in sales volume. Fully immersed in the market, Steve has renovated, rented or sold over 20 of his own investment homes in the Baltimore area. In the three consecutive years since 2015, Steve has been recognized as the top agent in his office, earning the Top Individual Agent in Closed Volume and Units Sold. In 2015, Steve was recognized as the Top Producer of Units Sold for the Maryland/D.C. region. He has earned recognition from the American Institute of Realtors as the Top 10 Maryland Realtors for client satisfaction. Steve gives back to the field by serving on the Keller William’s Agent Leadership Council (ALC) in 2105 and 2106.

Steve’s passion for real estate is only matched by his love of traveling to tropical locations. It was only a matter of time until his two passions connected. A 2010 vacation to the Central American country of Belize started a new professional path in international real estate. Steve is an International Master Franchise owner and residential property owner in the countries of Belize and Panama. In 2015, Steve launched the master franchise in Belize (only the 12th global Keller Williams franchise). Building on that success, Steve assembled a team of local Panamanian partners and launched Panama in 2016. With 3 offices open, Panama is prepared to bring the Keller Williams model to the robust Latin American market. In his role, Steve guides leadership team decisions and trains agents to build productive real estate careers.

Steve’s loves include traveling, sports, boating, fine dining, wine, sand between his toes and any combination of turquoise water and white sand. He also has a special place in his hear for animals, annually supporting his favorite charities (the Maryland Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA)) and rescuing several animals. Two of his own cats were originally residents of the alleys of Baltimore City.
